The specific heat of brass is dependent on what it is formed from. If the brass is made from Zinc then it's heating point is 419.53 degrees Celsius. If the brass is made of Copper it is 1084.63 degrees Celsius. Brass is a solid form and in it's regular solid state would take on the temperature of it's surroundings.
