How do I Copyright a Book?

Glad you asked...
When copyrighting a book follow these steps thoroughly. Make sure your work is literary work, next thing you do is decide where to register. If you're a US citizen you will need to register with the US Copyright Office (Library of Congress) before you are able to make a claim in a US court. Then register your work in the USA. You do this by obtaining a form TX from the Library of Congress. If all your info is correct you should receive a certificate of registration in four to five months.

Then again, this answer might help you...

To copyright a book, you should contact the U.S. Copyright Office. They will be able to give you all the information to successfully copyright your book. If your book is being published, the publisher will have this information for you. You can find more information here: www.copyright.gov...
