How do You Obtain a Copyright?

Glad you asked...
Once you have created and made a copy of your work, you automatically have a copyright. You do not have to do anything further. You also don't have to use the "©" symbol on your works. It is automatically implied. If you want to register your work with the U.S. Copyright Office, you can do so. It can be beneficial to you if a problem should arise from someone infringing on your work. Contact the U.S. Copyright Office at the Library of Congress, in Washington D.C.
