Where are Ribosomes Found?

Glad you asked...
There are several places where you can find ribosomes, depending on their type. For instance, free ribosomes can be found floating freely in the cytoplasm of a cell. You can find more information here: http://www.iscid.org/encyclopedia/Riboso...

Ribosomes are found either dispersed randomly throughout the cytoplasm or attached to the surface of rough endoplasmic reticulum. They are often linked together in chains called polyribosomes or polysomes.
