How to Write Roman Numerals?

Glad you asked...
Roman numerals are written in the capital letters I, V, X, L, C, D, and M. The I represents 1, V is 5, X is 10, L is 50, C is 100, D is 500, and M is 1000. For numbers that are 4 or 9 you place the smaller number in front of the bigger number. For example, 4 would be IV and 9 IX while 40 would be XL and 90 XC.
