How to Write An Iep?

Glad you asked...
To write an IEP, Individualized Learning Program you need to focus on the needs of the individual you are writing it for. An IEP should focus on current status of the student and projected goals to meet. It should state the reason for the student's needs and list the accommodations being requested in order for the student to meet those needs. It should also state specific services that will be required for the student as well as their frequency, duration and times. Be as specific as possible when listing all of the student's needs, provide medical documentation and request input from school staff such as the nurse and psychologist.

Then again, this answer might help you...

IEP is an abbreviation used for an Individual Educational Plan. This is a written document that states the subjects a child is having a hard time learning.
