Dolphins have been known to kill certain species of sharks, and could presumably kill even young great whites if they were still small enough.

A lone Dolphin may be killed by a shark. This is why dolphins stay in a group or pod. In a group the dolphins gang up on the sharks and can either severely hurt or kill a shark.
