Lava, or magma, is 700 degrees Celsius to 1,300 degrees Celsius in temperature. Magma comes from erupting and active volcanoes all over the world.

Some lava from volcanoes get much hotter than others, depending on the location and depth of the earth it reaches. Most will reach about 750 degrees Celsius, while the Hawaiian volcano lava can reach a temperature of up to 1,250 degrees Celsius.
